Principles, parameters and precautions of vehicle charger

The conventional vehicle charger used in automotive battery (car 12V, truck 24V) power supply is widely used in the field of lithium battery charging in various portable and hand-held devices, such as mobile phone, PDA, GPS and so on. The car charge should not only consider the actual demand of lithium battery charging (constant voltage CV, constant current CC, overvoltage protection OVP), but also take into account the vehicle vehicle. Shortcomings: there are similar deficiencies in the [1] scheme

Advantages: (1) because of the 2576 safety measures such as overcurrent protection and over temperature protection, combined with 358 (Shuang Yunfang) to realize the function of output constant voltage CV, constant current CC, overvoltage protection OVP and so on, a reliable, safe and perfect lithium battery charging scheme has been realized.

(2) since 2576 is a fixed 52K PWM converter, the EMI design of vehicle charging is relatively easy.

(3) as 2576 and 358 are manufactured by 40V high voltage bipolar process, they are more "solid".

(4) this scheme is commonly used in vehicle charging of 0.8A ~ 1.5A; disadvantages: (1) the system is relatively complex and the cost is high.

(2) the constant current CC and overvoltage protection OVP are achieved by controlling 2576 of the EN by 358 output, so the charging current has a larger ripple, and the response speed of the CC and OVP is not fast enough (by switching 2576 if it works).
