There are three main types of batteries for pure electric vehicles. The second category is nickel hydrogen batteries. It uses constant current charging method to charge the battery. At the same time, fast charging can be achieved.

The third category is lithium iron phosphate batteries. It refers to lithium-ion batteries using lithium iron phosphate as cathode material. The cathode materials of lithium ion batteries include lithium cobalt oxide, lithium manganese oxide, lithium nickel oxide, ternary materials, lithium iron phosphate and so on. Lithium cobalt oxide is the cathode material used in most lithium ion batteries at present.

Proper charging time is critical to battery life. For example, the first use of newly purchased electric vehicle batteries is best to charge up to 100%, if 100% of the electricity is used up with a matching charger, the general charging time will be 8-10 hours like, of course, some models are not necessarily, according to different battery types of instructions for charging, under normal circumstances Do not exceed 12 hours, do not recommend every charge to run out of electricity, it is recommended to use up to about 70% of the case charged, need to remind the first full charge, when the power is running out of the car for a long time to charge, this charge can be maintained in 10 hours or so, the purpose is to allow electricity.
